Welcome to the online forum where past and present DAFI student meet to share positive thoughts online.
Friendly Notice:
The REFED FORUM is maintained by an ex-DAFI refugee scholar on behalf of Refugee Education. Our main objective is to help create intellectual awareness for refugees, identify resources for Refugee Education, and support the UNHCR's efforts to support capacity-building programs for Refugee Education in general. Therefore, the Refed webmaster and volunteers will not, under any circumstance, endorse, engage, solicit, post, accept and or tolerate any text content or graphic material that may be liable for defamation of character of any person living or dead; political attacks on governmental and non-governmental organisations; and or any representation that may spark any unnecessary tension and the like.
We therefore urge all refugees to focus on the positive aspect of life in order to help make the world a better place for all.
Albert Einstein was a refugee. He once said: “... Politics are for the moment. An equation is for eternity...”
He continued: "He who joyfully marches to music rank and file, has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action. It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder."
